Festive greetings & spirit
Hello and season’s greetings!
It’s most wonderful time of the year! Everyone is in high spirits, friends and family come together to share in the celebrations over great food and drink. To keep your glass full of Christmas cheer, we thought of sharing a few firm favourite cocktails that Welsh Whisky fans can enjoy.
The “Iechyd Da!” *
Ingredients:
50ml Penderyn Madeira Whisky
A bar spoon of Welsh Honey
10ml Blood Orange Juice
2 dashes of Orange Bitters
Garnish: Orange peel
Method: Pour all the ingredients in a whisky tumbler, add ice and stir.

Myrthins Px Manhatan
Ingredients:
50ml Myrthins Single Malt Welsh Whisky
15ml Pedro Ximénez Sherry
10ml Dry Vermouth
Angostura Bitters - a few dashes
Garnish: 1 Fresh Blackberry
Method: Put the whisky, sherry, vermouth and bitters into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with the orange peel.
Angelsey Espresso Martini
Ingredients:
25ml Anglesey Mon Distillery Single Malt
50ml Coffee Liqueur (we use Derw)
50ml Espresso coffee
25ml milk (We recommend Almond barista)
Garnish: 2x Coffee beans
Method: Place all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake well. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with coffee beans.
